Improving accessibility of the Kleszczewo School Complex building for people with special needs

The aim of the project is to improve the level of accessibility of the Primary School in Kleszczewo for students with special needs. The project includes the design and extension of the primary school building with classrooms along with the necessary facilities. The extension will be implemented as an object with a fixed supporting structure, with monolithic or channel ceilings. The task includes the design and construction of the necessary living and specialized installations with instrumentation, intended for the use of the building. The task includes the design, extension and reconstruction of the staircase with a reinforced concrete elevator shaft, delivery, installation and commissioning of an elevator serving all floors. As part of the task, the reconstruction of the existing facility will also be carried out in the field of separating the fire-fighting staircase with a sweeping system and replacing the entrance door to the existing classrooms (8 pcs.) so as to adapt the rooms to serve disabled people on wheelchairs. The works will also include the reconstruction of communication around the building and finishing with concrete cubes. It is also planned to restore the green areas affected during construction works by fertilizing the ground and sowing with grass. Elements of small architecture will also be installed. The task also includes equipping the facility with equipment and elements to equalize opportunities for students with disabilities and improve the accessibility of the school institution: • for children with physical disabilities: - adjustable tables, adjusted to the height of wheelchairs - 8 pieces; - wheelchairs available on site - 2 pcs; • for children with visual disabilities: a) mobility assistance: - Tactile paving - special stripes on the floor, leading to important points in the school; width 30 cm length 240 m; - Braille marking on doors, toilets and classrooms - 35 pieces; specialised educational tools: - Braille monitors - 2 pcs.; - Braille keyboards - 2 pcs.; - electronic magnifiers - 2 pcs. ; - image enlarging devices - 5 pcs.; • for children with hearing disabilities: a) Hearing aid systems: - mobile induction loops in classrooms - 2 pcs.; - microphones for teachers combined with students' hearing aids - 2 pcs.; - alternative methods of communication: - interactive boards with speech-to-text transcription function. 75 inches - 8 pcs.; • for children with autism and sensory disorders: Sensory zones: - quiet rooms (relaxation rooms) with low lighting and soft materials; - special zones for sensory therapy equipped with tools supporting sensory development, such as sensory mats, weighted duvets, gymnastic wheels; Communication support tools: - communication devices, e.g. tablets with image communication applications - 8 pieces. • for children with cognitive impairment - interactive educational tools: - tablets and computers with software tailored to individual educational needs. Tablets - 4 pcs., computers - 4 pcs. The task also includes conducting training for teachers: • training in working with children with various disabilities - 1st ed. • Training in the use of technologies to support teaching The project also includes the installation of a photovoltaic installation with a capacity of up to 10 kW on the roof of the primary school building in Kleszczewo on the south side. Only expenditure related to improving the accessibility of the school for pupils with special needs has been included in the eligible costs. Expenses related to the extension and reconstruction of the facility that do not serve to improve the level of accessibility are ineligible. The breakdown of expenditure between the eligible and ineligible parts is made in table 5.1.1 of the application. As part of the promotion of the project, the purchase and installation of an information and memorial board (1 pc.) is planned.
