"Project for Gender Equality: Stronger Women, Better Community

Project "Project for Gender Equality: Stronger Women, Better Community" is implemented in a partnership between Euroscience Andrzej Czubaj and the Association of Leaders of Green Wielkopolska. The project is implemented between 01.10.2024 and 31.01.2027. The target group is: The main objective of the project is to improve the social and professional situation of 210 women and to improve awareness of the importance of equal opportunities for women and men in the local community, including 330 people and recipients of departments supporting equality between K and M, in the districts of Jarociński, Średzki, Śrem, Poznań and Wrzesiński, in the period X 2024-I 2027. The following support is planned for the project: - Organisation of an information campaign promoting equality in local and online media An information campaign promoting equality in local press and online media will be carried out. The aim of the workshops is, among others, a fuller understanding of women's rights and their importance in everyday life, developing awareness of the impact of social roles and stereotypes on women's lives, gaining knowledge about equality in the workplace. - Study visits will be organised to companies with good equality practices, public institutions that promote gender equality in the workplace and companies founded and run by women. Participants will work with a Professional Advisor to prepare an Individual Action Plan (IPD), i.e. a professional development plan. Coaching support in the field of equality in personal and professional life Coaching consists in supporting the participant in identifying and overcoming individual barriers related to equality. The workshops have an integration and motivational purpose, they will help participants improve their relationships and communication with others, get to know themselves, gain the skills of group and individual work or strengthen their faith in the possibility of change. - Assistance in job search Participants will be covered by a comprehensive and individual job placement, the aim of which is to get a job for as many participants as possible. Job search workshops are designed to build participants' knowledge about the labour market, teach them how to make professional decisions, look for a job, etc. - Vocational and computer skills courses Participants will be able to benefit from vocational courses and training, which will be selected on the basis of the results of the IPD and computer skills development courses. - Participation in professional internships Participants will be able to take part in professional internships and thus gain new experiences. The support path for each participant is individual and flexible. The participant will benefit from such forms of support as result of her needs. The development of the support path will be preceded by a diagnosis of needs. The main results of the project are: Number of people who have improved their knowledge of equality between women and men through support under the programme - 314 people Number of people who obtained a qualification after leaving the programme - 314 people Number of people in employment, including self-employment, after leaving the programme - 68 women Number of people who are in a better position on the labour market after leaving the programme - 33 people
