Project "Breaking the Barriers: Comprehensive assistance in combating poverty and social exclusion" is a response to the problems of people at risk of poverty and social exclusion, and assumes comprehensive and individual support for these people in social, professional and educational activation. The project is implemented in partnership between Euroscience Andrzej Czubaj (training institution, labour market institute, SMEs) and the Rozwojowi.pl Association (social economy entity). Duration of the project: from 01.03.2025 to 31.08.2027. Area of implementation: the districts of Jarocin, Średzki, Śrem, Poznań and Wrzesiński. Target group: people at risk of poverty and social exclusion and their surroundings and inactive people. The main objective of the project is to improve the social and professional situation of 240 people at risk of poverty and social exclusion, through the use of various forms of activation, in the districts of Jarocin, Środa, Śrem, Poznań and Wrzesin, in the period III 2025-VIII 2027. In the first phase of the project, participants will be involved in social activation, which will help them to become involved in social life and break down personality barriers. Social activation focuses on mental reinforcement of participants by working with a Social Activation Specialist, developing social competences, overcoming individual problems, etc. The second phase of the project is professional and educational activation. Each participant will receive career guidance, which will develop a career development plan tailored to their needs and opportunities. Participants will be able to acquire new competences or qualifications through participation in professional courses. They will be able to gain new or update their work experience and practical skills through traineeships or subsidised employment. Participants will also be supported by a job broker in job search, matchmaking with employers, etc. The support path for each participant is individual and flexible and will be developed in the form of an individual reintegration path (IR). Participants will benefit from such forms of support as arise from their needs. The development of the support path will be preceded by a diagnosis of needs. The most important forms of support and activities planned in the project: - individual support Social activation specialist - Social competence workshops Workshops developing social competences, e.g. improving relationships and communication with others, obtaining group and individual work skills, time management, home budget management, etc. - Individual assistance Psychological, legal assistance, counselling in civic matters, financing the costs of caring for a child or a dependent person, etc. - Animation activities Improving competences in spending free time and recreation and participation in culture. - Vocational guidance - Digital skills courses - Vocational courses and training Vocational courses and training to be selected on the basis of a developed support pathway. - Participation in traineeships - Funding of subsidised employment - Job search assistance Comprehensive and individual job placement aimed at obtaining employment for as many participants as possible. The main results of the project are: Number of persons who obtained a qualification after leaving the programme: 228 People The number of people whose social situation has improved after leaving the programme: 216 people Number of jobseekers after leaving the programme: 30 persons Number of persons in employment, including self-employment, after leaving the scheme: The project is implemented in accordance with the principles set out in the Guidelines for the implementation of projects involving the European Social Fund Plus in the regional thresholds for 2021-2027.
