Unity of Greater Poland: Integration Project for Migrants

The aim of the project is social integration of 140 foreigners from non-EU countries (migrants) from the Wielkopolska Region. The project is implemented in the period from 01.07.2024 to 30.06.2026. The project is implemented in a multisectoral partnership concluded between Andrzej Czubaj, running the economic activity Euronauka Andrzej Czubaj (project leader – training company and employment agency) and the Association of Parents and Teachers of the Średzkie District EDU-XXI (partner – association and social economy entity). The actions will cover 140 people (migrants) who do not hold the citizenship of any EU country or countries such as: Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. Support planned in the project: Each participant will receive support from the Foreigners Service Assistant. The assistant will create individual support paths (IA) tailored to the needs of the participants. The assistant will conduct a diagnosis, identifying problem areas and planning to eliminate them. Thanks to the analysis and the CCI, support will be tailored to the individual needs of participants, taking into account various factors such as language skills, labour market situation, education, qualifications, type of work, cultural differences, gender, age and migration status. On the course, participants will learn about the latest history of the Polish state, political system, characteristics of Polish and local society, culture, tradition and customs and organization of the Polish state (health services, education services, public security, pro-family and social policy, labour market and employee rights) - Participation in adaptation and integration events Participation in joint events and initiatives aimed at integrating participants in the group and with the local community and adapting to life in the local community, getting to know the nearest area, etc. - Polish language courses Polish language courses from scratch, which are aimed at developing communication skills and information processing skills, improving all language skills, acquiring language skills for professional needs, learning and consolidating vocabulary, gaining knowledge about the culture of the country. - Individual aid, e.g. Psychological and legal assistance, counselling in civic matters, other specialist advice, translation of documents, work on improving one's own appearance and image. Work with a Professional Advisor, which consists in the preparation of an Individual Action Plan (IPD), i.e. a professional development plan for participants. Vocational courses will be selected for each participant on the basis of the results of the IPD, taking into account the needs of the labour market. - Participation in work placements Traineeships are aimed at gaining new work experience, adapting to a new environment and workplace. - Job search assistance Participants will be covered by a comprehensive and individual job placement. The support path for each participant is individual and flexible. The participant will benefit from such forms of support that result from his needs. He will not have to use support that is unnecessary for him, because there is no single, permanent path of participation in the project. The most important results that will be achieved as a result of the project are: Number of persons who obtained a qualification after leaving the programme - 105 Number of persons in employment, including self-employment, after leaving the programme - 43 Number of persons whose social situation improved after leaving the programme - 67 Number of persons who entered education or training after leaving the programme - 10
