Strengthening the potential of ITI in the MOF Poznań

The project "Strengthening the potential of ITI in the MOF Poznań" involves comprehensive and multifaceted actions to strengthen the potential of Integrated Territorial Investments in the Municipal Functional Area of Poznań in the planning, coordination and monitoring dimension by increasing the competences of people to manage in the subregional dimension. The activities of the project will serve in particular to develop strategic documents and implement the priority areas of the ITI strategy. The project foresees the following activities: • remuneration of staff involved in the management, monitoring and evaluation and implementation of ITI; • Office maintenance (including: rent of premises, fixed fees: utilities, office insurance, handling of bank accounts, courier and postal services, operating costs, service of office equipment, office supplies); • training for employees, ITI coordinators in municipalities; • staff delegations; • legal and accounting services related to the operation of the ITI Office; • conferences, meetings, exchange of experience (aimed at animating cooperation within the OF); • information and promotion activities; • Institutional expert support. The above tasks are necessary for the implementation of the following priority areas of Integrated Territorial Investments in the Municipal Functional Area of Poznań: I. Public e-services II. Adaptation to Climate Change III. Sustainable urban mobility IV. Education for the future V. Healthy and active society VI. As part of the Integrated Territorial Investments in the Municipal Functional Area of Poznań, a large number of projects are planned to be implemented in individual priority areas. The total allocation for financing these projects amounts to EUR 118 603 175.96 under the FEW 2021+ and PLN 450 000 000 under the FEnIKS 2021-2027. This requires an effective, stable and transparent structure of the Poznań Metropolis Office, which performs tasks on behalf of the Poznań Metropolis Association. Therefore, it is necessary to identify expert project teams responsible for individual priority areas, each of which has specific tasks and areas of competence. In addition, it is mandatory for the ZIT MOF Poznań to develop a supra-local development strategy, which must be adopted by 31 December 2025. The supra-local strategy was introduced into the system of strategic documents as a result of the amendment to the Act of 6 December 2006 on the principles of development policy (Art. 6). In view of the above, the Poznań Metropolis Office has planned to change the existing structure by separating the following expert teams: 1. expert team on public e-services in the Poznań Metropolis (1 expert) 2. expert team on adaptation to climate change in the Poznań Metropolis (2 experts) 3. expert team on sustainable urban mobility in the Poznań Metropolis (2 experts) 4. expert team on education for the future in the Poznań Metropolis (1 expert) 5. expert team on healthy and active society in the Poznań Metropolis (2 experts) 6. expert team on strengthening the potential of ITI in the Poznań MOF (1 expert) 7. expert team on preparation and implementation of a supra-local strategy (2 experts)
