The aim of the project is to support DSR as an IC UP in the preparation, management, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, strategic and management coordination of the IC UP and analysis of tasks performed by individual employees of the IC UP UP, broadening their skills, increasing motivation and commitment. The implementation of professional development plans will provide highly qualified employees of the Department and guarantee the implementation of their assigned tasks. The project is of a framework nature and includes, inter alia, the following components: • Coordinate the preparation and update of pan-European and national development strategies, taking into account the territorial dimension (e.g. Partnership Agreement, Country Development Concept, Medium-Term Country Development Strategy, National Regional Development Strategy, Urban Policy, EU MFiPR macro-regional strategies); • conducting analyses, expertise and activities of the National Territorial Observatory (NTO); • shaping and negotiating the next EU financial perspectives for cohesion policy; • tasks arising for the MFiPR from the European Semester in the context of cohesion policy, including preparation and monitoring of the implementation of the National Reform Programme and monitoring of the EU Council Recommendations to Poland; • domestic and foreign training of departmental staff, workshops, seminars and other forms of education. Department staff also cooperate with government and local government administrations, experts and bodies coordinating cohesion policy with national, sectoral, macro-regional and supra-regional policies. In view of the above, it is planned to finance the costs of all ongoing organisational and administrative activities related to the implementation of the Partnership Agreement, including Poland’s participation in interregional and international cooperation programmes such as URBACT, EUKN, V4+4, VASAB, ESPON, as well as cooperation in strengthening and monitoring the territorial dimension, urban policy and revitalisation, and participation in expert and working groups.
