The Office of Rail Transport, as a key institution in the field of rail transport, performs tasks relevant to the implementation of the FE. The objectives set out below are consistent with the objectives of the PT FE 2021-2027 and the SZOP for the priority PTFE.01 Effective institutions. They have a direct impact on tasks: expert support, training, equipment of workstations. The aim of the project is to support the UTK's activities in the scope of tasks directly related to the implementation of cohesion policy by: 1. Expert support in the area of substantive implementation of tasks resulting from the Rail Transport Act and ensuring their effectiveness. It includes the preparation of expert opinions on the verification, approval and commissioning of infrastructure investments. The subject of these studies will concern, among others, the compliance of infrastructure investments with the essential requirements of railways, including safety. The result of this work may also be guidelines and recommendations in the area of verification of documentation from the course of assessment of the change introduced to the rail system. 2. Improving the qualifications of employees of organisational units that are involved in the implementation of the tasks of the Office of Rail Transport as a key institution for the implementation of cohesion policy. The activities of the Project include the organization and conducting of specialized trainings dedicated to the above-mentioned employees. These trainings concern substantive issues directly related to the tasks performed by employees in the field of investments in the railway sector co-financed by EU funds, including administrative proceedings conducted by the Office of Rail Transport for the purpose of verifying, approving and authorising the use / putting into service of infrastructure and rolling stock. Such issues include, in particular, the architecture of rail traffic control systems, the diagnosis and maintenance of traction vehicles and freight wagons, the monitoring and diagnosis of railway infrastructure, the construction, modernisation and settlement of railway power supply systems. These trainings will enable employees to acquire new and update current knowledge and will provide substantive support in the scope of their tasks. Due to the substantive level of issues and the multifaceted nature of changes in EU regulations, it is justified to train employees on an ongoing basis in the field of railway safety, construction of railway infrastructure, construction and operation of railway vehicles in order to properly perform the tasks of giving opinions on documentation and conducting administrative proceedings 3. Equipping workplaces that perform tasks related to the implementation of cohesion policy. The Project's activities in this area will consist in the development of administrative support facilities through the purchase of computers and multifunctional devices as equipment for the work station of substantive employees.
