The project focuses on a detailed analysis of the geometry of the new micro-tools produced with the designation "pilot drill" for the medical sector and the identification of the differences between the real produced macro-geometry and the source digital data - the 3D model. The research will also focus on the impact of microtool cutting edge modification depending on tool life and on functional tests of optimized microtool designs to find suitable cutting conditions for maximum utilization of tool potential in machining.
