A deeper understanding of the basic building blocks of matter is a long-term goal of physics and plays an important role in pushing technological boundaries. FORTE will bring together outstanding scientists from five scientific institutions in one team to address open questions in the fields of particle physics, astrophysics, cosmology and gravity. The team will work in international collaborations, developing cutting-edge detector technologies and computing tools, thus contributing to world-class research.
