The project will enable the implementation of a research project that received a high evaluation in the Horizon-MSCA-2023-PF call but was not selected for funding. The author of the project entitled "Characterization of the role of SHMT2 in tumor suppressive functions of LACTB" is a foreign postdoctoral student and the research will be carried out in the Czech Republic. In addition to gaining new scientific knowledge, the aim of the project is to support the career growth of a scientist with a link to IOCB, to develop the international environment of the Institute and, in general, to support the interest of scientists in European MSCA grants.
