The aim of the project is to modernise and upgrade the e-INFRA CZ e-infrastructure, which is a strategic infrastructure for research, development and innovation in the Czech Republic. Modernisation of specific components – supercomputers and their backgrounds, MetaCentrum computing clusters and directly related storage capacities, new large data spaces for active work with data as well as increasing the capacity, quality and flexibility of the communication infrastructure – will ensure a unique ICT environment for R&D&I in the Czech Republic and its connection to the European Research Area.
