The aim of the project is closer integration of biomedical research and health care with optimal transfer of research knowledge to the clinical level and ultimately improvement of health care in the metropolitan area of Pilsen. Based on long-term international excellence, advanced instrumentation and high-quality human resources, three research areas of interest were selected: infectious diseases, including antibiotic resistance, cancer treatment and tissue regeneration, and obstetrics and reproductive medicine.
