The main objectives of the INTERVIR project respond to the two biggest challenges of contemporary civilization in terms of population health, which are (i) the unpreparedness of our society to fight global epidemics and (ii) the global increase in antibiotic resistance. Therefore, the excellent scientific teams of the CATRIN UP Institute, in cooperation with FARMAK and MedicProgress, will focus on the development of new solutions in the areas of prevention, early diagnosis and minimisation of the effects of diseases caused by viral and bacterial pathogens.
