For effective interventions to improve the quality and performance of the education system, it is necessary to have a comprehensive set of quality data, convincing models of the effectiveness of intervention tools, as well as long-term analyses of their impacts. Through the implementation of national and international surveys, advanced secondary analyses of their results and the setting of a methodological environment for the evaluation of the education system, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports will strengthen the capacity for effective decision-making and data-based management of education policy.
