The submitted project of GW Train Regio, a.s. is focused on equipping railway vehicles of the 845 series with ETCS (retrofitting) signalling equipment in order to ensure their full interoperability on the SŽ, s.o. network after 2025. The modernization of the vehicles will allow its subsequent operation on lines R25 and U52 + U8, which are operated under the so-called public service obligation in the Ústí nad Labem and Pilsen regions. In total, it is the equipment of one prototype and 7 serial buildings.
