The subject of the project is the transformation of sites affected by lignite mining into industrial zones and investments in their accessibility and construction of utilities. The created industrial zones will serve for economic diversification, the creation of new jobs, without dependence on the mining industry, which will be gradually phased out. The purpose of the project is to use the potential of the territory as a key resource to start the transformation of the region. The project includes the preparation of the Stará Sedlo and Podkrušnohorská hopper sites.
