The general objective is to create a mobility corridor at the level of Şimleu Silvaniei in order to reduce GHG emissions and implement at local level a green public transport system and an alternative transport system, including by encouraging the use of non-motorised means of transport. The aim of the project is to implement at local level a sustainable transport model, based on the principle of sustainable mobility assumed by the European Union and Romania through the European Green Deal and the Paris Agreement. Thus, this project under the title "Urban Mobility Corridor in the City of Șimleu Silvaniei" falls under Policy Objective 2: "A greener, low-carbon, resilient Europe moving towards a zero-carbon economy by promoting clean and fair energy transition, green and blue investment, circular economy, climate change mitigation
