"The overall objective of the project is to create a mobility corridor at the level of the Municipality of Gherla in order to reduce GHG emissions and to implement at local level a green public transport system and an alternative transport system, including by encouraging the use of non-motorised means of transport. The aim of the project is to implement at local level a sustainable transport model, based on the principle of sustainable mobility assumed by the European Union and Romania through the European Green Deal and the Paris Agreement. Thus, this project under the title ‘Gherla 2 Mobility Corridor’ is part of Policy Objective 2: ‘A greener, low-carbon and resilient Europe moving towards a zero-carbon economy by promoting clean and fair energy transition, green and blue investment, the circular economy, climate change mitigation and adaptation
