According to Government Emergency Order No 33/2022 amending Law No 219/2015 on the social economy ‘Investing in people is the key to sustainable progress for society. Their size is influenced by the socio-economic context, education or training systems and their ability to adapt to change and technological progress aiming at alleviating labour market imbalances. Human capital ready to adapt is an essential condition for transforming current challenges into opportunities for improved quality of life or sustainable economic development." This project proposal therefore supports social economy enterprises as a viable business model that reconciles the social, economic and financial dimensions and can create wealth even if measured not only in terms of its financial capital, but also and above all in terms of its social capital.
