The overall objective of the project is to improve the physical road transport infrastructure by upgrading a functional section of county interest in order to increase the accessibility of rural and urban areas located in the proximity of the TEN-T network in Galați County. The general lines of the South-East Regional Programme 2021-2027, create the premises and provide the necessary financial instruments for the continuation of the measures aimed at the economic and social development of Galati County and implicitly of the South-East region, contribute to increasing economic competitiveness in order to reduce intra-regional disparities and sustainable development resilient to climate change. Sustainable and resilient development, fully in line with the environmental and climate objectives assumed at European level, is a cross-cutting issue that defines the strategy and interventions of the South East 2021-2027 RP. Galati County Council's initiative to rehabilitate and modernize the functio section
