Competitive Employees, 2nd Edition The general objective of the project is to update specific skills in the context of rapid technological developments and the emergence of new skills, for 610 employees in the North-West, West and South-Muntenia development regions. The globalization process accentuates the spread of technology and creates new occupations that replace some of the existing ones. With each new occupation, the skills and competences needed must adapt to the new needs identified. The need for vocational training is accentuated by labour shortages, an ageing labour resource in the context of demographic trends and a high proportion of low-skilled or under-trained workers.
