The project ‘Development of green spaces, parks and recreation areas in the Triaj area, Reșița Municipality’ strategically aligns with Policy Objective 2 of the European Union, contributing to a green and sustainable transition through the following concrete actions and measures: Reducing the carbon footprint: The park will act as a ‘green lung’ for the Municipality of Resita, contributing to the capture of carbon dioxide and the release of oxygen through intensive planting of trees and diversified vegetation. This includes the planting of species resistant to pollution and adapted to local climatic conditions (such as pines, tits, native shrubs), which will ensure the capture of air pollutants and improve air quality; Contributing to the circular economy and reducing waste: By reusing materials resulting from site cleaning (earth and building debris), the project promotes the principles of the circular economy. Recycled materials will be used for modeling
