The overall objective of the project is the development of the social economy by setting up 34 social enterprises in rural areas of the Bucharest-Ilfov development region, respectively in Ilfov County and by improving the entrepreneurial skills in the social economy of 132 people in rural areas, developing independent activities and improving access to the labour market for jobseekers and inactive people by creating 145 jobs of which 41 will be vulnerable people in rural areas. The overall objective of the project is within the provisions of the ‘National Strategy on Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction 2022-2027’ that the number of people at risk of poverty or social exclusion be reduced by at least 7% in 2027 compared to 2020 by strengthening and supporting social entrepreneurship and the social economy.
