GENERAL OBJECTIVE [OG] is the effective and efficient implementation of the screening program for chronic liver diseases in Romania by developing and implementing a standardized and updated methodological framework. This will be achieved by strengthening the training capacity of health professionals, facilitating effective communication between all parties involved in screening, and upgrading the IT infrastructure associated with the SEES registry. The project also aims to raise awareness among the population about the importance of screening for chronic liver diseases and improve access to high-quality screening services across the country, thus contributing to improving the health status of Romanian citizens and reducing the incidence of these diseases.
