The general objective of the project ‘Revitalisation and Activation of the Railway Park’ is represented by the specific objective 5.1 of Priority 7, namely ‘Promoting integrated and inclusive social, economic and environmental development, as well as culture, natural heritage, sustainable tourism and security in urban areas’. This project will support the achievement of four major investment objectives, conceived in a unitary manner, by implementing them to improve in quality both the current green planted area of the Railway Park and the part of the banks of the Someş River along the length of the park, the general concept of the project being the integration in a unitary manner of all the neighboring areas of the park, with a special attention paid to the Someş River, considered as a compositional and functional natural structuring element in the new development.
