The objectives expected to be achieved through the realisation of the investment are:  Ensuring access capacity in Constanta North Port for heavy traffic even after the development of the island area.  Removal of bottlenecks generated by the intersection at level with the access railway in the southern area of the port of Constanța Nord.  Ensuring the load-bearing capacity necessary for heavy traffic.  Increasing road safety by regenerating the roundabout at the eastern end of the A4 motorway.  Increasing the access capacity in Constanta North port by extending the traffic flows to and from the port by activating the P9 gate. This objective is closely linked to the achievement by CN APM SA of a connecting road with 2 (two) lanes within the port between gates P9 and P7.
