The overall objective of the project is to promote the socio-economic inclusion of elderly people in Suceava ATU by establishing and operationalizing a day care center for the elderly, capable of hosting at least 50 beneficiaries monthly, respectively at least 600 beneficiaries annually. Socio-medical services will be provided to a target group of vulnerable elderly people affected by housing difficulties, as defined by Social Welfare Law No 292/2011. These services will be offered in two distinct locations: at the day centre newly established by the project and at the home of these vulnerable people. To ensure accessibility, a specialised mobile unit will be designated to provide these services at home, reaching a minimum of 100 vulnerable people. Thus, the people in the target group of the project will have the opportunity to receive the care they need in the comfort of their own home or at the day center, depending on their needs.
