The overall objective of the project is to increase the institutional capacity of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forestry to implement the governance measures of the National Waste Management Plan. In addition, the implementation of the project also results in strengthening the institutional capacity of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forestry in the field of waste management, as well as of the public institutions with responsibilities in the field, which implement the project in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forestry.
