The overall objective of the project is to promote the socio-economic inclusion of elderly people in Cuca ATU by establishing and operationalizing a Day Centre for the elderly, capable of hosting at least 50 beneficiaries monthly, respectively at least 600 beneficiaries annually. The proposed project aims to provide socio-medical services to a target group of vulnerable elderly people facing housing difficulties, as defined by the Social Assistance Law no. 292/2011. These services will be offered in two distinct locations: in the new day care centre set up under the project and in the homes of these vulnerable people. To ensure extended accessibility, a specialised mobile unit will be designated to provide these services at home and to cover at least 100 vulnerable people.
