Strengthening the autonomy and promoting the well-being of 120 elderly people in Baia Mare by developing an innovative social center for assistance and recovery. The Centre will provide universal access to quality services, tailored to individual needs and based on principles of person-centred care, supporting active and participatory ageing in the community. It will integrate home care services through mobile teams, promoting social inclusion and reducing isolation, in line with national and international strategic directions on long-term care and active ageing. Romania is experiencing a rapid ageing of the population, currently having about 3.7 million people aged 65 or over, which represents about 19.2% of the population.
