The overall objective of the project is to implement an integrated and sustainable public transport system in Lupeni Municipality through the purchase of electric buses and the development of the necessary infrastructure (fast and slow charging stations, bus stations) to improve the accessibility, efficiency and quality of public transport services. The project aims to promote green urban mobility, contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, improve air quality and provide a viable and comfortable alternative to personal car transport, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and horizontal principles to promote equal opportunities and combat climate change. The project "Establishment and Development of the Green Public Transport System" in Lupeni Municipality is designed to significantly contribute to the achievement of the specific objective of Regional Intervention 4.1 Sustainable Urban Mobility.
