Urban regeneration by reviTalizarEa Central Area – Mihai Viteazul Square Craiova R.E.G.E.N.E.R.A.T.E CRAIOVA – Mihai Viteazul Square Area

The future challenge for cities is the balance between efforts to preserve traditions and the need for development and change through innovation. There is a new trend for European cities to develop a large-scale cultural infrastructure, not only to become more competitive on the global market, but also to strengthen the process of urban regeneration. Improving and increasing the aesthetic and functional level of urban spaces directly contributes to increasing the quality of life of inhabitants. Urban regeneration is the future revolution of cities, so much needed at the moment is the innovation of public spaces, their reorganization, the restructuring of intrusive elements and the elimination of unsightly arrangements, in other words, the beautification and reinvention of public spaces in cities, for the benefit of its inhabitants, uniting the need for beauty with the need to ensure a resilient space in the face of the increasingly present climate challenges in our lives.
