The overall objective of the project is to improve the water and sewerage infrastructure in the localities in Galaţi County included in the project, in order to fulfil the obligations established by the Accession Treaty and the relevant European Directives. Through the investments included in this project, the extension and rehabilitation process of the water and wastewater infrastructure carried out in the 2007-2013, 2014-2020 stage continues and investments are proposed in the extension/establishment of water supply and sewerage systems in rural areas. Through the project, the following indicators will be achieved by 2026: RCR41 = 120,170 place of which 10,170 new inhabitants and 110. 000 inhabitants who will benefit from a better water supply; RCR42 = 10,170 new inhabitants.
