Expansion and endowment of the Regional Emergency Functional Unit within the Emergency Clinical Hospital for Children "St. Maria" Iasi-Stage II

The overall objective of the project is to develop health and social infrastructure by improving the quality and efficiency of emergency hospital care for the paediatric population (0-18 years) in the North East Region. Phase II of the project is in line with the overall framework for the development and prioritization of health policies provided by the National Health Strategy 2023-2030. The strategic reference document is elaborated by the Ministry of Health and identifies the development directions that Romania must follow, in order to ensure equitable access to quality health services, as close as possible to the needs of the individual and of the community. The current National Health Strategy “Together for Health” covers the period 2022 – 2030, builds on the objectives of the previous strategy and responds to the structural reform needs of the health sector.
