The overall objective of the project is to improve the quality of the infrastructure of the emergency unit, which will contribute to ensuring the balanced territorial distribution of emergency medical services by taking over patients from the local level, who cannot be treated in an outpatient system. The general framework for the development and prioritization of health policies for 2021-2027 is provided by the National Health Strategy 2023-2030, a strategic reference document developed by the Ministry of Health, through which are identified the development directions that Romania must follow, in order to ensure equitable access to quality health services and includes the general objective of the project.
