The general objective of the project ‘Pod over the Someșul Mic River on Giuseppe Garibaldi Street (Garibaldi bridge) in Cluj-Napoca, Cluj County’ is synergistic with Specific Objective 2.8, namely ‘promoting sustainable multimodal urban mobility as part of the transition to a zero-carbon economy’ by: the construction of a new road link (2 intersections) on the route covered by the Garibaldi Bridge, between Garibaldi Street and Uzinei Electrice Street, the introduction of intelligent traffic lights that will create an uninterrupted flow of travel in favour of public transport.
