The overall objective of the project is to ensure the connectivity of the regional road network to the TEN-T network by rehabilitating and upgrading the county road network providing (primary and secondary) connectivity to this network. The proposed investment objective is ‘Improving the traffic level of DJ 156 A and DJ 208 G for access to the TEN-T network’ and is intended as a road communication route with county road functionality and technical characteristics. In order to improve the traffic conditions, it is proposed to rehabilitate/modernize the two county roads by increasing the load-bearing capacity of the road complex, by making a modern asphalt covering, arranging and systematizing the intersections to ensure the fluency and safety of the road traffic, as well as ensuring and properly evacuating the rainwater leakage from the road area, priority elements to satisfy the safety and comfort conditions imposed by the law.
