Improving the quality of life in Carei by 40% by developing recreational and leisure services and improving public safety by 2025. In addition to the need to solve socio-economic problems, sustainable development and raising living standards in small and medium-sized cities also depend on improving the recreational offer, providing opportunities to spend quality free time, but also improving aspects related to the safety of the population in the public space. The project aims to improve the quality of life of the population of Carei municipality by addressing two complementary solutions to problems identified by Local Strategies. One of the problems faced by small and medium-sized cities in Romania and is specific to Carei Municipality is the migration of young people to larger urban centers or outside the country, leaving behind an aging population.
