The overall objective of the project is to increase the economic competitiveness and improve the living conditions of the communities in Teregova, Cornereva and Mehadia by increasing the connectivity and mobility of rural areas in the vicinity of the TEN-T road corridor. Easy road access offers rural residents increased opportunities in education (schools), health (hospitals) and economic opportunities (jobs). Investments in road infrastructure, especially those in the vicinity of major trans-European networks, add value to the living standards of the beneficiary communities directly (dwellers of route DJ 608) and indirect beneficiaries (transit traffic using DJ 608).
