The overall objective of the project "Modernisation of Traffic Corridor Mures Nord:DN 7(Gelmar) -Geoagiu Băi - Bobâlna -Rapoltu Mare - Uroi - Chimindia - Harau - Bârsau - Șoimuș - Brănișca - DN 7 (Ilia)" is to increase the accessibility of rural and urban areas (7 localities, of which 2 cities, with a population of 32348 inhabitants - Simeria and Geoagiu, Brănișca, Hărău, Ilia, Rapoltu Mare, Șoimuș and the surrounding rural settlements located close to the TEN-T, basic and extended road infrastructure (E68 - road axis 7 - Pan European Corridor IV and E79), the TEN-T basic rail infrastructure (rail axis 22 - Pan European Corridor IV ).
