Integrated investment measures for the revitalization and regeneration of the Flemish city in Botosani County

Raising living standards for the population of Flemish City in the context of an integrated and balanced approach to improving educational and social services and revitalising urban public spaces. At national level, statistics show that small and medium-sized towns, compared with large urban centres, have the highest proportion of people living in households at risk of social exclusion and poverty, which is inversely proportional to the degree of urbanisation. At the same time, in addition to their own inhabitants and potential investors, commuters, residents or tourists, small towns also serve nearby rural areas, so they also play an important role in meeting the socio-economic, cultural, educational needs of rural populations, which are characterised to a large extent by high poverty rates, demographic ageing, lack of access to basic services, underdevelopment of capital.
