The overall objective of the project is to improve the conditions for the use of non-motorised modes of transport in order to reduce the number of journeys by private transport (cars) and to reduce CO2 equivalent emissions from transport. Thus, the Municipality of Bacau aims to develop urban mobility by shifting the focus from a mobility based on the use of cars to a mobility based on walking, the use of bicycle as a means of travel, the use of high quality and efficient public transport, reducing the use of cars in parallel with the use of clean car categories.
