The overall objective of the project is to improve the water and sewerage infrastructure in the municipalities of Hunedoara County included in the project in order to fulfil the obligations laid down in the Accession Treaty and the relevant European Directives. Through the investments included in this project, the extension and rehabilitation process of the water and wastewater infrastructure carried out in the 2007-2013 stage continues and investments are proposed in the extension/establishment of water supply and sewerage systems in rural areas.
