Thermal energy production and distribution system using geothermal energy in the city of Pecica

General objective of the project SYSTEM FOR THE PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF TERM ENERGY USING GEOTERMAL ENERGY IN PECICA CITY, JUD. ARAD is the development of a centralized system for the production and distribution of thermal energy, using less exploited renewable energy sources, respectively geothermal energy, in order to reduce CO2 emissions. By producing thermal energy from less exploited renewable resources (geothermal energy), the project will help increase the share of renewable energy in total primary energy consumption and reduce carbon emissions in the atmosphere generated by the energy sector by replacing part of the amount of fossil fuels consumed annually (natural gas). Gross primary energy production from less exploited renewable sources: 0.091 thousand toe/year. Achieving the general objective is a consequence of the achievement of the specific objectives, as a result of the achievement of the actions/activities
