The overall objective of the project is to improve the public medical infrastructure for functional structures that diagnose and treat cancer within the Emergency County Clinical Hospital “St. Apostle Andrei’ Galați. The aim of the project is to equip patients with high-performance medical equipment to provide quality diagnostic and treatment services related to the oncology field. Investing in health and promoting early diagnosis and treatment of cancers affecting the population is a priority in the development policy of Galati County. Improving the quality of health services has positive implications for the health of the population. The project contributes to fulfilling the strategic directions of the Regional Master Plan of Health Service in SE Region by improving access to quality medical services and strengthening the capacity of the County Emergency Clinical Hospital "St. Apostle Andrew
