Equipping Calarasi County Emergency Hospital “Dr Pompei Samarian” with medical equipment for cancer diagnosis for personalised treatment The overall objective of the project is to increase the accessibility of the population to public health services and to improve the quality of public health services provided by the Calarasi County Emergency Hospital “Dr Pompei Samarian” by equipping the population with equipment for cancer diagnosis for personalised treatment according to the identified tumour profile. This will be done by equipping the histopathology and cytology departments of the Pathological Anatomy Service of the Calarasi County Emergency Hospital ‘Dr Pompei Samarian’ with high-performance specialised and digitisation equipment in order to be able to implement modern cancer diagnostic techniques for personalised treatment according to the tumour profile. The proposed project responds directly to the objectives of the EU4Health Programme 2021-2027 – For a healthier European Union and to the objectives of the 2021-2027 PS – Priority 7.
