Creating an aquatic ecosystem by arranging a thermal lake

The aim of the project is to harness local resources to create a green-blue infrastructure that combines the protection and conservation of nature and biodiversity with aspects of urban aesthetics, in order to obtain a special recreation space for the population and a habitat for local flora and fauna species. The project will transform a vacant land by using geothermal water into an environmentally friendly and attractive green area. The thermal lake will be a unique objective in its own way in the area and will become one of the attractions of Pecica, which was certified in 2022 as a tourist resort of local interest. The overall objective of the project is to create an aquatic ecosystem by arranging a thermal lake in the Pecica town.
