The general objective of the project proposed for funding is to increase the quality of life in Focsani by creating a public street lighting system that ensures the full satisfaction of the needs of the city and its inhabitants, in conditions of maximum efficiency in terms of resource consumption and with beneficial results in terms of the costs of these utilities for the population and the Municipality. The implementation of the new system will also contribute to creating a climate of safety and comfort for the inhabitants of the municipality and for all categories of population destined for or transiting through the municipality, thereby helping to speed up the overall process of urban development. In order to achieve the general objective, the project proposes the implementation of an efficient and environmentally friendly public lighting system in Focşani Municipality, which will significantly reduce non-renewable energy consumption after the implementation of the project.
