Investments in the infrastructure of the Microbiology Laboratory of the Deva County Emergency Hospital

The overall objective of the project is to improve the diagnostic and therapeutic capacities of the Deva County Emergency Hospital by equipping the microbiology laboratory with modern and advanced equipment in order to ensure a rapid and accurate diagnosis, optimize treatments, combat antimicrobial resistance and increase the quality of medical services provided, thus contributing to the protection of public health and alignment with national and international health standards. Detailing the General Objective Improving Diagnostic Capabilities Implementing Modern Technologies: Acquisition and use of state-of-the-art equipment, such as automated bacterial and fungal identification systems and equipment for antibiotic susceptibility testing, enabling the rapid and accurate identification of pathogens. Reduced Diagnosis Time: Significant decrease in the time needed to diagnose infections
