The overall objective of the project is to ensure direct and improved connectivity to the TEN-T network through the rehabilitation and modernisation of 5.75 km on the county road DJ 601A in Ilfov County. The aim of the project is to rehabilitate and modernize DJ 601A, generating a significant impact on increasing the accessibility of rural areas (Roșu-Dudu-Chiajna) and the Municipality of Bucharest located in the proximity of the TEN-T network and, implicitly, economic growth. Moreover, the development and modernisation of the county road network connected to the TEN-T and its reorientation towards sustainable, safe, integrated, smart and resilient multimodal mobility will increase the level of attractiveness and utility for passengers and goods.
